Oh, the joys of parenthood!
We love our kids. Really, we do. But, we don't exactly love some of the things that come with kids....for example....
1. blowout diapers
2. potty training stubborn little girls
3. interrupted sleep (thanks, Tak)
4. endless laundry
5. peeing the bed
6. full-out melt-downs in public
Especially when all those things happen on the same day! You've all pretty much "been there, done that" I'm sure. However, these kids of ours give us those little moments that make us smile, laugh, and wonder "hmm, when did they learn how to do that?" So, we still keep them around. We look forward to seeing Diana dance at her dance recital. We are hopeful that this time, she will actually DANCE and not just stand there with the rest of her class, looking like little deer caught in the headlights. As for Maria, well, she's not exactly hopping on the potty training bandwagon...it's such a disappointment :( I guess I'll keep at it! And Tak, well, he will probably be blowing out of his diaper for a little while longer, but he's my sweet little baby boy....and I'll just suffer the poopstains.
