Good things come to those who WAIT!

This post could also be titled...
Patience is a virtue
OR
Worth every penny!
A l--o--n--g time ago and far away, I wanted to attend a photography workshop. But alas, I was still living in Canada, and there was NO way I could go. The timing was NEVER right and I needed to make sure my little ones were taken care of as well. I waited for what seemed like f-o-r-e-v-er and then I realized that my only chance was if I could attend one in Utah when I lived there. After all, I still have young children and a little baby to nurse. I even had a very specific one in mind that I wanted to attend.....So, you can imagine my joy when I finally got to attend a fabulous workshop... the one I wanted....right in my own backyard...literally.
I absolutely LOVED Nichole Van's Workshop! It was worth the investment and the loooonnng wait just to attend! She is a fabulous person and a fabulous photographer... and so willing to share her wealth of knowledge with us, even those of us from Utah.I also have to thank my wonderful husband and sister who watched my kids during the 3 days that I was in-and-out of my home. I am definitely grateful for their help. It was no easy task... one of my girls had Chicken Pox, my baby was teething, and Mark had to help out at a big Church activity. Aside from the "no sleep" during the night and getting up early to get to the workshop, we all made it out alive quite well!
So, now what?!? I'm still working hard on my business. The hubby is preparing for finals. And we are happy that Spring is here! (okay, with a few snow storms, but the snow melts fast). I am anxious to put up images from the workshop soon...wish I could have taken more, but it's so dang tricky to have a nursing baby and to be able to do it all...sigh. It's okay.

{Day 80} The kids & I played house inside an actual mini playhouse...so fun :)

{Day 76} Caught a rare moment: Mark shopping for new shoes!

{Day 84} We were all so miserably sick all month, but this little guy was still happy!

That little guy of yours is so handsome! I'm so glad to hear you got to attend that workshop and that is was very worth it, and I look forward to hearing more about your business. (And chicken pox?! I didn't know any kids got that anymore... Did your other kids get it too?)

Hey Nataly! Are we still on for this Saturday? My sister told me about an orchard in Provo where she got her family pics taken, so I'm thinking of that as a destination. Or the amphitheater nearby. I just realized though that I am stupid and forgot Aaron has a class on Saturday mornings (I know right...lame) so would late Saturday afternoon/early evening work instead? Like 4:30 or so? If not, we can reschedule for a different day.
