a new definition of christmas...

You didn't know that Christmas came in JUNE, did ya? Well, this year...IT DOES :)
A few weeks ago, the kids and I made a countdown chain for Mark's homecoming. I know it has helped the kids visualize and internalize that their daddy will in fact come back home...at least for a few days...before having to go back for another month. We shall focus on the glass half full not half empty! We can't wait to have our daddy back...even for just a bit.

We've been surviving quite well... going to the park, playing with the dirt and the weeds in the backyard (hopefully the owners will want to lay sod someday), doing storytime at the library, swimming lessons, and taking one day at a time!
