Diana is now four years old.
Diana is fun. She creates fun out of her surroundings.
Diana is organized. She makes sure the daily routine is done in order and feels at ease when small things like her dinner plate and silverware are in their proper place...no spilling is allowed. Border-line OCD? maybe. Ultra-perfectionist? yeah, probably. Blame her mother.
Diana is learning tenderness. When Baby Tak is screaming, Diana runs to his side and strokes his face. She talks to him and tries to make him smile, even though sometimes the screaming and crying have already drowned out her attempts.
Diana is observant and optimistic. If dad has been away for a long time, she says,"When dad comes back, he wants supper." When our plans get rained out, she says, "Yeah, it's too wet for the sand today...maybe tomorrow." When a new movie comes out on DVD or at the theater she says, "Maybe if Diana cleans up she can go to the show!"
Even before she was officially conceived, in my heart, she had a name..."Princess Diana."
