Christmas Showcase: Dec. 15, 2008

The song was "Christmas Under the Sea" by Ariel & Sebastian... the costumes, as you can see, were leis and sunglasses. I had to seriously constrain myself from laughing out loud, not because I wanted to make fun, but these little girls were just a hoot to watch. They were doing the little hula dance and little hand gestures that were too darn cute and funny!!! I especially liked the sunglasses! It was definitely a unique number to do at Christmas time!
This is the final curtain call...the girls were right in the front row singing "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" and eating the candy cane they were given...of course they couldn't wait until they got home to eat it!
I was so proud of my girls...as proud as a "stage mom" could be! There were no tears, no fears, and no big mishaps...and both of them enjoyed themselves very much. Plus, I think Mimi is a natural on the stage...who would have thought? She's usually the shyest of my girls. And the evening was complete because cute cousins Kami & Mari could come support them!

Yes! Dance performances are even better than Primary Programs. I hope you got video. :)
