home sweet home
Thanksgiving was a huge hit. Food, family, & fun! Mark took a few photographs of the dinner details for his extra credit assignment for his photography class. I think he did really well... I'm always teasing him that he has a hold on "object" photography, but NOT portraits. Still love him though, even more than the sparkling apple cider.

Back in October, Diana was the student spotlight in her class. Mark says we went a bit overboard on the "About Me" poster... and I say, "Hey, it's okay, considering I could have taken it in an even bigger creative angle. So many possibilities, not enough time! Oh well.
In November, Diana filled our home with her school art projects to make it more festive. She's always creating something in her free time too. As much as I would love some eye-pleasing, lush, comfy furniture and home decor...I'll take my little paper bag turkey and homemade art projects, thanks :)
You can't find personal "I love you mommy" notes at your fave home decor store. And since we still don't have a BYU banner (shame on us!) Diana made us one in a pinch on the day of the big football game. When you're in Ute territory, you gotta have more school pride than ever! (GO BYU!)

Mark loves his little shadow. If he could, I think little Tak would go volunteer at the dental office with daddy. Everywhere daddy goes, he wants to be!

I LOVE homecomings----especially those mission homecomings! It's thrilling and emotional...you can't help but be smiling while breaking down in tears of joy! And our family couldn't be prouder of cousin Steven. Most people joke and say that a mission in Hawaii couldn't be all that hard...but once you talk to Steven, you get the feeling that he served faithfully to the end and that he is now a better person, definitely destined for greatness.

Happy return missionaries!

Crazy cousins!

Your family is so lucky bc they get to have these beautiful pictures of them for life! Love them.
Great post! And wow, your hair is getting long! (By the way, I think it could be hard to serve a mission in Hawaii, if you liked swimming and surfing...)
