beautiful children

The other day, Diana came home from school singing a song about "all children being spring flowers in the garden of life..." it definitely sounds more beautiful when she sings it than when I just write the short version of the lyrics...but, anyway, you get the picture. And she's right. Some may say it sounds absolutely cheesy, but I know she's right. My beautiful "spring flowers" are beautiful on the outside and the inside. If I could possess half of their innocence and zest for life, I would be a much, much better person.



It has been a long winter around here. Spring has shown its face here and there and finally, it is on its way here, permanently.

It has been a long winter for me too... but after all the illness and exhaustion comes the prize!

And we are soooo ECSTATIC! To say that I am excited is an understatement. To say that we have been greatly blessed barely seems to touch the surface of our deep-seeded gratitude. But nonetheless, we are LOVED. And our new little one will also be LOVED.


She's due to arrive August 18, 2011. Let the countdown begin!
