Good, Better, Best

Good: blogging about our family life
Better: picking up my camera and documenting bits and pieces of our family life
Best: Being a full-time mom

Have you ever had this conversation with your 7 year old?

Dad: You might not remember, but you were this little, just like her.
Diana: {with a big grin} Really?!? Oh, yeah, you're right!
And, she's looking right at you 'cuz she knows you are her daddy, huh?
Dad: Do you see how she moves her eyes and her head? She's responding to my voice when I talk and her eyes are detecting my movement... she recognizes facial features better and better each day. There are certain areas in her brain that are being stimulated, some that will aid in sound recognition, others that help her eyes recognize shapes and differences in dark areas versus areas with light. There are certain signals being exchanged between the brain and your eyes, mostly understood as electrical impulses... etc.

Well, such are the conversations we have with our children. Yay for having BOTH parents as science majors! :)

I shall add a few more posts, little by little.
Remember: Good, Better, Best!

Definitely. That something I try to remind myself of every day.
